Active Mark

This annual award rewards delivery of the national PE, School Sport and Club Links strategy. Schools are automatically assessed for one of the marks through the national school sport survey, which all School Sport Partnership schools take part in.

Activemark 2007

Bovey Tracey Primary received the mark because:

The percentage of pupils participating in at least 2 hours high quality PE and school sport each week is significantly above the national average; and
they held a sports day; and
they had met or bettered the national average for pupils involved in sports leadership and volunteering or, the percentage of pupils participating in sports clubs linked to their school.
